On the top of a hill, between the intense green of the pines and the
silverplated green of the secular oaks, the Relais will enable you to admire a
marvellous panorama that combines the splendid city of Portoferraio, its
bastions and its port with the intense blue of the sea.
For its isolated position, its great park enriched by the colors of the
oleander, geraniums and lavender, the Relais of the Picchiaie is an oasis of
tranquillity interrupted only by the "drumming" of the green woodpecker or by
the twittering of the other birds. The hotel disposes of two sparkling swimming
pool, one with hydromassage, surrounded by palms, geraniums, and fully equipped
with sun beds. These swimming pool offer an oasis of complete relax under the
